Project: Oak-Framed Barn, Chivery, 18th July 2007
Six oak trees from my own wood were milled on site and then used to construct this oak-framed barn.
Following traditional methods, dating back to the middle ages, the timbers were all jointed and secured together with oak pegs.
The doors, window frames and floorboards were also made from the same oak.
